Introduction
Yarn Lume is a crochet learning iOS app by the Yarn Lume team. This policy explains what information the app handles.
Information We Collect
Skill level (beginner/master), foundation course progress, and language preference are stored locally on your device.
Subscription status is managed via Apple StoreKit—we do not receive payment card data.
Optional offline video downloads may be cached on your device (up to 500 MB).
We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, or photos. No account registration is required.
How We Use Information
We use this information to personalize your learning path, save your progress, apply your language setting, deliver free and Pro content, and enable optional video downloads.
Data Storage
Your data stays on your device (UserDefaults and local files). Clearing app data or uninstalling the app removes it. You can clear the video cache in Profile.
Third Parties
Apple processes subscriptions and payments.
The app may fetch content manifest JSON and stream or download videos from configured CDN URLs.
We do not use advertising SDKs. We do not sell personal data.
Your Rights
You can delete local data by uninstalling the app. Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Contact us at anthaly88@gmail.com if you have questions.
Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13. Parents and guardians should supervise use by minors.
